Origins

Abstractionism captivated me in the early 2000s. In 2004 I learned about Indian dreamcatchers, which according to Indian beliefs protected the mind and served as amulets, preventing bad dreams from entering the mind and trapping illness and evil spirits in their intricate woven patterns.

Inspiration

At the beginning of my creative journey, being in one place, inspiration was a rare guest for me.

But over time, addresses of inspiration appeared: Orenburg, Kardailovo village, Surgut, Moscow, Krasny Sulin, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Gelendzhik, Garkusha settlement, Kerch, Simferopol, the city of Belogorsk in Crimea, Krasnodar, Goryachy Klyuch, Tolyatti, Kazan, Tel Aviv, Belokamenka village, Novomoskovsk, Ufa, Tashkent, the city of Almalyk in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan, Murmansk, Metlino settlement, Labytnangi.
